2. USAGE (CÁCH SỬ DỤNG)
- Diễn tả hành động diễn ra vào thời điểm đang nói:
Ex: She is learning English now.
Bây giờ cô ấy đang học tiếng Anh.

- Sử dụng chung với các trạng từ: Now, at the moment, at present, today.
- Một kế hoạch trong tương lai/ một cuộc hẹn (tomorrow (ngày mai), next week
(tuần tới), tonight (tối nay).
Ex:We are having breakfast at 8 a.m tomorrow.
Chúng tôi sẽ ăn sáng vào lúc 8 giờ sáng mai.
- Khi trong câu dùng các động từ mang tính chuyển động như: go (đi), come (đến),
leave (rời khỏi), arrive (đến nơi), move (di chuyển), have (có)... thì không cần dùng
các trạng từ chỉ thời gian.
Ex: Don’t come late. We are having a nice party.
Đừng đến muộn. Chúng tôi sẽ có buổi tiệc long trọng.
3. CÁCH THÀNH LẬP ĐỘNG TỪ THÊM “ING” (V_ING)
- Thông thường chúng ta thêm đuôi “_ing” sau động từ.
Ex: watch → watching
do → doing
- Các động từ kết thúc bởi đuôi “e”, chúng ta bỏ “e” sau đó thêm đuôi “_ing”.
Ex: invite → inviting
write → writing
- Các động từ kết thúc bởi đuôi “ie”, chúng ta đổi “ie” thành “y” rồi thêm
“_ing”.
Ex: lie → lying
die → dying
- Các động từ kết thúc bởi đuôi “ee”, chúng ta chỉ cần thêm đuôi “_ing”.
Ex: see → seeing
- Các động từ kết thúc bởi một phụ âm mà trước đó là một nguyên âm đơn
thì chúng ta nhân đôi phụ âm đó.
Ex: begin → beginning

PRONUNCIATION (PHÁT ÂM)
Tập phát âm /ʌ/ - nguyên âm trong từ “come” /kʌm/
Lưỡi thu về sau, phần sau của lưỡi hơi nâng lên, đầu lưỡi chạm răng dưới. Miệng
mở to, giống khi phát âm /æ/, hai môi mở và hơi bẹt về hai bên. /ʌ/ là nguyên âm
ngắn, phát âm ngắn, dây thanh âm rung khi phát âm.

Khi phát âm, âm thanh di chuyển nhanh từ /ə/ đến /ʊ/, hình miệng cũng theo đó
mà thay đổi. Vị trí lưỡi từ nửa thấp đến cao, hình miệng từ nửa mở đến khép, hình
môi từ bẹt đến tròn. Phát âm trước dài sau ngắn, trước nặng sau nhẹ, /əʊ/ là
nguyên âm đôi, dây thanh âm rung khi phát âm.

dây thanh âm không rung khi phát âm.
Tập phát âm phụ ám sát- phụ âm không gió /z/.
Khi phát âm /z/, vị trí lưới và hình miệng hoàn toàn giống với khi phát âm /s/. /z/là

1. VERBS "BE" AND "HAVE" FOR DESCRIPTION
Để miêu tả một người (thuờng là miêu tả ngoại hình), chúng ta có thể dùng động
từ "to be" hodc "to have". Để hiểu cách sử dụng của hai động từ này. Xét các ví dụ
sau:
Ex:
She has long hair.
Cô ấy có mái tóc đài.
Her hair is long.
Mái tóc của co ấy dài.
Có thể thấy hai câu trên đều cùng diễn đạt một ý nghĩa. Ở câu 2 ta dùng động từ
"to be” hoặc “to have" (sau khi chia động từ thành has). Ở câu 2 ta dùng động từ
