The Canadian Institute of Forestry is celebrating its 100th anniversary and is undergoing changes to better serve its members. It was established in 1908 and currently has 18 sections across Canada promoting continuing education for foresters. It is implementing changes this year based on member input, including a new name, vision, and online presence. It provides value to members through an electronic lecture series, website, discussion forum, newsletter and more to advocate for forest stewardship and sustainability.
