Classification of tv advertizing
1. Network Advertizing – uses the
facilities of the major television
networks in Manila which have relay
stations in the provinces. These
networks includes; the ABS-CBN
Channel 2, GMA Channel 7, Interisland
Broadcasting Corpration or IBC-13,
Radio Broadcasting Network or RPN-
Channel 9 and the government- owned
People’s Television, Channel 4.
 2. Spot Broadcasting or Spot
Advertizing- advertizers can
choose exactly which markets
to cover with the advertising
and can omit all others. They
can also select different
programs for different projects
or markets.
 3.LocalTelevision Advertizing-
is done primarily by retailers.
It may utilized programs
produced and sponsored by a
retailer, or it may be a network
show sponsored in part by a
local advertiser.
Classification of tv advertizing
 1. Outdoor advertising, such
as; posters, billboards,
electronically-operated neon
signs.
 2. Transit advertising, like
signs in buses, taxis, and
coaches of the light railway
transit (LRT).
 3. Cinema advertising, like
those inserted in-between
screening of movies.
 4. Advertizing novelties, like
gifts or souvenir items
engraved with names of
companies or products.
 5. Telephone directories. These is
commonly known as the yellow
pages in the telephone directory
of the Philippine Long Distance
Telephone (PLDT) company.
Directories of provincial telephone
companies also contain
advertisements but they are not
necessarily in yellow.
