- 22. 21 Institutionalization of One-PMIS Use How Seoul Has Done - Recommends the use of One-PMIS for all of its construction projects whose total budget exceeds KRW 20 million won, or about USD 18,000. - Runs a monthly training program for its users and provides user support through the operation of a call center, offering remote support service and providing online manual service. - Seoul has decided (in May 2016) to add a dedicated clause into the “Special Conditions” section of its construction contracts, making the use of One-PMIS mandatory for the contract-holders.

- #7: 여러분 아름답죠? 현재 서울시의 야경입니다. 그리고 123층, 555m 높이로 현재 시공 중인 제2 롯데월드의 정경입니다. 이 모든걸 경험한 제가 생각해도 믿기 힘든 발전입니다. 그러나 이런 급속도의 발전으로 인해 좋은 점만 있던 것은 아닙니다. 성장위주의 발전으로 인한 폐해가 나타납니다.

- #15: The old system required people to visit the related offices in person in order to obtain information on the state of the construction processes and new project contracts, and the agencies needed a dedicated storage space for managing the archive of documents and as-built blueprints. Searching through the archive for older documents was time-consuming and there was always the possibility of missing documents. As recently as five years ago, efficient project management was something hard to achieve. The situation has changed with the various aspects of a project managed under the single system of One-PMIS. The new system enables officials to take the necessary measures to deal with work delays as they occur by sharing in real-time information related to each stage of the project from planning to engineering and construction. All participants of a given construction project are now given a tool that effectively connects them with the others. Also, e-documentation has brought efficiency to the document storage and search processes. With the added features of Safety E-TV and construction machinery management, One-PMIS is now one of the most indispensable tools used at construction sites to prevent safety hazards.
