explain this agreement.
Then, if you’re ready, we’ll ask you to sign it.
Finally, we’ll shake hands and get you on the
road - making money.

Nature of the Agreement
This Agreement states that you agree to rent the truck; you’ve
provided a deposit; the information you provide will be accurate;
and that this document is recognized as a legal contract.
Also, if you file bankruptcy during the rental period, our
agreement can’t be included. If you file bankruptcy, and you
default on the terms of this contract, we will have the right to
come get the truck.

Use of the Truck
1. You can’t haul anything illegal, like drugs,
illegal aliens, dead bodies, etc…
2. You can’t take the truck into Mexico.
3. You can’t turn the truck into a logging truck.
4. Only you or a designated driver who has
been approved by the rental company can
operate the truck.
5. Always carry a copy of this agreement in the
truck!

Payment and Maintenance
Your payments are due weekly. There is no “grace period”.
We have no control over this. If you think there’s going to be a
problem, call your customer service agent. Always communicate!
Otherwise, you’ll be considered in default.
You are responsible for maintenance. It’s up to you to make sure
that it stays in as good condition as it is today when you drive it off
our lot. Remember: Prior authorization has to be given for any
repairs in excess of $300, outside the maintenance schedule.

Affirmative Covenants
1. You agree to the Payment and Maintenance Responsibilities
section.
2. You’ll need to keep us updated on which company you’re
leased to.
3. All taxes, plates, permits, fees, tolls citations, moving
violations and fines are your responsibility. (Includes IFTA*)

Insurance and Truck Damage/Loss
The truck must be insured with a standard form primary and non-trucking
liability policy, with National Truck Funding, LLC named as additionally
insured. It has to carry $1,000,000 combined coverage.
The truck will also carry a standard physical damage policy for the fair market
value for replacement.
The Safe Trip Agreement will be outlined and detailed for you on another
page of this agreement.
If you have an accident, NTF will not be liable for the cargo or other property.

Privacy Notice
This notice gives you the opportunity to opt-out of the release of
your information to nonaffiliated third parties. We needed to obtain
some personal information such as a copy of your driving record.
Our company will safeguard your nonpublic personal information
with measures that comply with federal regulations.
If you send us a written request, we will be glad to send out your
payment history. If your payments are on time and in good
standing, this can work in your favor.

Rates, Assignment and List
The Rental Period is for 261 weeks. You can bring the truck back
at any time during the Rental Period and will no longer be
responsible for the weekly payments.
You can assign your rights under the agreement only with the
written consent of NTF.
There is a list of names of all drivers approved for operating your
truck. The use of non-approved drivers is grounds for
termination of this agreement.

Jurisdiction and Resolution
Should there be any dispute between NTF and you, all action will be
governed by the State of Mississippi.
Arbitration: All claims will be heard by a third party arbitrator. This person
is usually a retired judge who will listen to each side, then make a
decision. If no resolution is reached, it can proceed to civil court.
Each party is responsible for their own respective legal counsel.
In order for the agreement to be legal, this will be repeated in certain
sections of the agreement.

Confidential and Proprietary
This agreement and the information in it is the property of NTF.
Termination
If the agreement is terminated, all refunds will be applied against
any money owed. There will be a Detail Charge of $895, and a
Service Charge of $495. There will also be an excess mileage
charge of $.25 per mile for mileage over 2,000 per week.

Truck Purchase Option
After 1 year & 1 day of participation,you have the option to purchase the truck.
Your initial security deposit will be subtracted from the price to buy the truck.
The price of the truck is determined by current NADA Used Truck Book Price.
Your weekly payments do not apply toward the price of the truck, but because
you are renting, your payments are tax deductible.
We suggest that you consult with your accountant for more details.

First Day Protection Plan
Highlights:
A. 7-day bumper-to-bumper coverage
B. $1,000 deductible for all repairs excluding DPF
C. If the truck has a DPF installed, it will have a separate deductible
D. Subject to conditions and limitations
E. You must call for authorization before any work on the truck has started
(There is an addendum to this agreement that will give you the opportunity to
participate in our Super Saver Program. It reduces the deductible to $499. )+

50-50 Plan
After the 7-day plan, the coverage converts to a 50-50 plan. Which
means we will pay for half of the repairs at a NTF facility only.
You will need to get an estimate and forward it to NTF.
Unauthorized repairs will not be paid for by NTF.
Your CSR should get an estimate to begin the approval process.
The NTF headquarters is located in Gulfport, MS.
Your account has to be current in order to participate in the 50-50 plan.

Safe Trip Agreement
NTF covers all of the trucks in its fleet. We are required to even if
you have this coverage already. That way, WE KEEP UP with the
lapse dates and keep the policy in force so that the investment is
protected. This is another part of the Agreement that cannot be
changed.
This payment will be included in your weekly payment.

Safety! If you are involved in an accident, be sure
obtain the following:
A copy of the accident report
Names, addresses and phone numbers of everyone involved
The other party’s insurance name, policy number and agent
information
TAKE AS MANY PICTURES AS POSSIBLE

Compliance Department
1. You must use the 2290 under the name NTF (National Truck
Funding) Do not get a 2290 on your own.
2. Our in-house dedicated Compliance Department will provide
tags and IFTA stickers.
3. By running with a NTF tag, you are able to haul for anyone
you want within all 48 states.

Easy Pay Plans for 2290 & Tag
Option 1. Pay $2,499 in full and save money
Option 2. Pay $999 down and $189 for 9 weeks
Option 3. $499 down and $199 for 15 weeks
Option 4. $740 down and $89 a week for the contract term (261 weeks)
IFTA is a separate charge
