The campaign aims to position Sky as a serious alternative to BBC and CNN for election coverage and showcase its entertaining and educational shows on the topic. Two main promos will have different tones - one more mainstream and lighthearted featuring shows like The Simpsons, and one more serious tone highlighting history shows and films about US presidents. The campaign will run in early October 2008 to build interest in Sky's "Presidential Take Over Season."
