This document provides an overview of Conway Liao's Common Sense Object Mini-Project for a spring 2009 design course. It includes a domain map of relevant topics like experience documentation, communication, and data visualization. It also outlines two areas of focus: using senses as a way to digitally package experiences, and how metadata can be used to create experiences. Examples of precedents that inspired the project are briefly described, such as the Triops panoramic camera, Google Street View, the MIT Sixth Sense wearable device, and augmented reality graffiti.
