This document provides guidance for developing a community health promotion program. It instructs the student to:
1) Identify a priority community diagnosis based on an assessment.
2) Choose between socio-environmental, biomedical, or behavioral approaches and compare their strengths/limitations.
3) Develop a program outline using a logic model framework that identifies goals, strategies, activities, resources, and evaluation indicators.
The community nurse's role and involving the target aggregate should be discussed.
