This document summarizes an oral health education presentation given to 32 adolescents at Wasatch Junior High School. The presentation aimed to improve the oral hygiene knowledge and habits of the students. Researchers assessed the students' baseline knowledge through a pretest, then gave a presentation covering proper brushing techniques, the effects of snacking, and how to detect biofilm. A posttest showed that the students' average knowledge increased from 60% to 90%. The presentation engaged students through games and hands-on activities. While effective, the researchers noted that they could improve with more time and presenting earlier in the day.
