- 3. John Pemberton created Coca-Cola on May 18, 1886 in Atlanta, Georgia. It was first sold at a pharmacy soda fountain. Coca-Cola’s first print ad came out in The Atlanta Journal. Before Pemberton died in 1888, he sold his company to Asa Candler. By 1895, Coca-Cola was drunk in every state. His coupons and advertising worked

- 5. The Coca Cola Company donated 10 acres to the Georgia Aquarium, and 3 acres to the city of Atlanta for a human rights center.
- 6. Coca-Cola’s impact on Georgia was tremendous. It provided jobs, such as bottling the drink, and gave Georgia publicity. Tourism was increased to see the Coca-Cola factory in Atlanta.

- 8. Coke used coupons to give customers a free Coke. Coke also advertised in magazines and newspaper and placing the name Coca Cola on products.
- 9. A challenge that faced the Coca-Cola company was the fact that they were always growing. The company grew too big their facility in Atlanta. Mr. Candler had a larger building built, but ten years later, it was also too small

It’s most likely used for nearby cities and states. It is also used to deliver products to deepwater ports in Savannah to be shipped. Air Craft Used to send products to other countries. Employees also use this airport to reach business meetings and conferences around the U.S. and the world
