T.P. Kailasam was a Kannada playwright who lived from 1884 to 1946. The document discusses Eklavya, a young prince from a lower caste who aspired to learn archery from the guru Dronacharya. Though denied access due to his caste, Eklavya practiced diligently on his own and eventually surpassed Dronacharya's best pupil, Arjuna, in archery skills through self-study and determination. Both Eklavya and Arjuna were highly skilled archers, though Arjuna was of a higher caste and learned directly from Dronacharya while Eklavya had to teach himself.
