Comparing the theme of this film to the theme of Wolf of wall street or Man of steel this shows a genre of thriller and science fiction filled with action and adventure this is because of all the locations that are shown in the trailer.

It relates with the film Inception because it has a unique soundtrack which is what I think most films go for in the modern age. The film reveals its genre through the narration told throughout the trailer that gives the audience an insight of what the film is going to be about. This similar to the Inception and Wolf of Wall Street trailer.

At 1:40 in the trailer it shows that he’s accepted being different and this is when the trailer shows what genre the film is trying to show. Different fades and wipes are used in the trailer to show the time skip of how he’s gone from a child to a man which is a good use of character development as well as leaving suspense of how a comic book genre film should be shown. As he goes from the normal person to the hero this is a good use of denotation.

The characters are all working in offices and wearing suits it is showing that these people in the film are hardworking people because it shows the main character next to a yacht so it shows that he must have a high source of income.

The trailer relates to Man of Steel and Inception because the main antagonists is working towards an end goal and achievement of finding themselves. The connatations shown in the trailer shows that even a normal average person can become successful. This is shown at 0:58 when Jordan Belfort trains his employees.
