This study compares the effectiveness of two ambulance location models—Maximal Covering Location Problem (MCLP) and Gradual Cover Location Problem (GCLP)—in delivering emergency medical services. Results indicate that GCLP is superior in optimizing ambulance deployment, as it allows for partial coverage and demonstrates reduced ambulance response times compared to MCLP. The findings suggest that GCLP provides a more realistic approach to emergency service efficiency.
