- 1. Configuring FDMEE for HFM 11.1.2.4 & Sample File Load. Prerequisites: Version:::HFM 11.1.2.4.101 SimpleHFM ClassicApplication(shippedalongwiththeEPM Suite) Create a Data gridwith no Data for the POV.(Scroll down for POV). SampleLoad file.Scroll downfor SampleLoad File. ClickNavigate > Administer> Data Management.
- 2. ClickSetup > UnderConfigure MenuClick> SystemSettings. UnderSystem Settings> SelectFile in the Profile Type. UnderSettingsin the ApplicationRoot Folder <Type the location>. ClickCreate ApplicationFolders. ClickSave.
- 3. SelectODI in the Profile Type.Confirmthe Settings.ClickSave.
- 4. ClickSetup. UnderRegister> ClickSource System. ClickAdd under Source SystemSummary. UnderDetails Pull the Drop down from the Source System Type and SelectFile.Name it in the Source SystemName. Type GLOBAL in the ODI ContextCode.
- 5. Verifythe Name givenin the Source System Name (File) isDisplayed. ClickSave.
- 6. ClickSetup. UnderRegister> ClickTarget Application. UnderTarget ApplicationExpand Target ApplicationSummary. ClickAdd.
- 7. UnderSelectApplicationPull the Drop downin the Type and selectFinancial Management. Highlightthe HFM applicationand clickOk. The HFM Applicationis displayed.
- 8. Expand ApplicationDetails> Click DimensionDetailsto Viewthe DimensionDetails.Click Application Optionsto viewthe applicationoptions.

- 10. Data Grid inHFM with the Above POV Prior to Loading through FDMEE. ClickSetup. UnderIntegration Setup> ClickImport Format.
- 11. UnderImport Format > Expand Import Format Summary > Click Add. Expand Detailsand Fill / Selectthe NecessaryFields(Markedwith*) ClickSave.
- 12. The NewlyaddedImport Format appears underImport Format Summary. Under<Import Format Name: > Mapping fill the details. In this scenario it isFileLoad:Mappings.

- 15. Expand Detailsand Fill / Selectthe NecessaryDetails.(Marked with*) ClickSave.
- 16. The NewlyNamed/ CreatedLocation appear under Location. ClickSetup. UnderIntegration Setup> ClickPeriodMapping. UnderPeriodMapping > ClickGlobal Mapping> Click Add.
- 17. Fill the PeriodKey,Prior PeriodKey, PeriodName,Target PeriodMonth,Year Target. ClickSave.
- 18. ClickSetup. UnderIntegration SetupClick CategoryMapping. UnderCategory Mapping > HighlightGlobal Mapping. ClickAdd. Fill the Fields.
- 19. ClickSave. ClickWorkflow.UnderData Load > ClickData Load Mapping. UnderData Load Mapping.SelectAccount in the Drop Down Menuin the Dimensions.SelectLike. ClickAdd. And fill the Fields:- Source Value | Target Value | Rule Name | Description.
- 20. ClickSave. SelectCustom3 in the Drop Down Menu inthe Dimensions.SelectExplicit.ClickAdd. Fill the Fields.

- 26. ClickWorkflow.UnderData load > Click Data Load Rule. UnderData Load Rule > Expand Data Rule Summary > ClickAdd. Expand Detailsand Fill the Fields(Markedas *). Selectthe Import Format. SelectSingle PeriodLoad in the File Type.
- 27. ClickSource Options > Click Selectand selectthe Text File (FDMEE.txt). ClickUpload. SelectBrowse and locate the File to be loaded. ClickOk.
- 28. ClickOk. The Uploadedfile will appearin the File Name. ClickSave.
- 30. Make a Note of the Process ID / Extract ID. Click Ok. ClickWorkflow> UnderMonitor > ClickProcessDetails. UnderProcess DetailsID and Extract ID could be seen.
- 31. UnderProcess Step. ClickWorkflow.UnderData Load > ClickData Load Workbench.
- 33. Drill Through. Right Clickthe Cell > Click On Drill > Drill Through to source.
