Continuity Editing Task
- 1. Luke Finlay BTEC Media IG£ Task 4 Continuity Editing Task For this task we had use Adobe Premiere to put together a short sequence. Chris videoed himself with multiple shots of going through the stages of making a cup of tea. Our task was to edit it to make a sequence of good continuity. To do this we had to import some clips from ‘My Computer’ in to our Premiere file. Once all our clips had been imported, we had to watch all the clips so we knew what order the clips go in. Once we knew what clips to use and where to use them, we had to cut them down to get the shot we needed. Once we had edited all of our clips and got a sequence together we had to export it to ‘My Documents’ and then upload it to YouTube. The purpose of this task was for us to get some practice and for us to understand the Premiere programme so when it comes to editing our short film we will find easier and do a better job of editing than what we would have done if we hadn’t had the practice.
