The document presents a new method called depth compensation cross-ratio (dcr) for improving the accuracy of traditional cross-ratio (tcr) eye tracking techniques which struggle with head movements. The dcr method enhances gaze estimation by compensating for angular discrepancies between the optical and visual axes, achieving an average improvement of 40% in synthetic data and 8% in real data. The proposed technique retains the simplicity of previous methods, requiring only a one-time calibration per user.
