Crambe – Bio Oils (Crambe abyssinica)‏ The Crambe Organisation Saphrau Inc
What is Crambe Bio Oils Crambe Bio Oils are produced from plants. These plants create a high concentration of erucic acid which is used primarily as a slip agent in plastics, but also in cosmetics, perfumery, polymer additives and many other uses. Bio Oils are in high demand with not enough supply, as bio oils are a cleaner, environment friendly alternative to using non-renewable oil sources.
Crambe: What is on offer? High return – low risk opportunity Eco friendly industrial farming product Feel good factor, offers local opportunity for jobs, social welfare, clinics and schools
Why is this good? Bio oils are produced from plants, plants produce oxygen = great for environment Bio oils are from plants which grow from seeds, which are renewable, unlike traditional oils which come from non renewable resources We only grow our bio oils on designated industrial farming lands, these means we do not cut down trees or use lands designated for food Our bio oil plants are grown in countries such as South Africa and Liberia, we create employment and social benefits such as contributions to schools, clinics and work with local charity organisations to bring value, aid and assistance if necessary to the local communities
Worldwide Markets Current market approximately 100,000 tonnes bio oil worldwide Market increasing by 4-10% per year Crambe far superior in terms of erucic acid content. Therefore this market increasing faster Opportunity for upto 150,000 hectares
The Crambe Bio Oil Cycle Each Crambe Cycle runs for 6 months: M1 – planting of seeds M5 – harvest M6 – Extraction of Bio Oil begins The cycle restarts M7 giving 2 cycles per year.
Crambe – the benefits 2 Crop Cycles per year – return starts after the first crop cycle at 6months, and is paid monthly thereafter In demand – currently not enough supply High return – upto 60% p.a. New opportunity – nothing else similar currently exists
Investment Opportunity Up to €100M – Up to 150,000 hectares Up to 60% return per annum Seeds are sold in Seed Units – each seed unit weighs 19.6KGs and are planted in 1.8acres of land Contract with Saphrau Inc through Quatro only
