Project Requirements
● Artwork must take up the entire page and be fully
colored.
● Creature must be a combination of at least
3 animals (real or imaginary).
● You must cover your creature with some form of
texture to create feathers, fur, scales, ect.
○ Select a media that will give you the best
ability to create details in your creatures.
● Your background must be a habitat for your
creature. Media Choices
● Colored Pencil
● Chalk Pastel
● Oil Pastel
● Watercolor
● Black Sharpie
3. Exquisite Corpses- Head
1. Take a paper from the center of the table and fold it in 3rds.
2. On the top part of the paper draw an animal head, stop at the fold.
3. Add in as much detail as you can until I tell
you to switch.
4. When you’re done with your drawing extend the “neck” over the
fold so the next person knows where to start the body.
5. When I tell you to pass the paper make sure you pass it with the
head hidden.

2. Using the lines from the neck to draw a body of an
animal.
3. Add in as much detail as you can until I tell you to
switch.
4. When you are done with the body extend the end
to the last section of the paper so the next artist
knows where to connect the legs.

stop.
Open the back of the paper, look at the name and
return it to that person.

10. Creatures Card Game
● Turn to a blank page in your sketchbook, title it
Creature Card Game.
● Using the cards set in the center of your table
(without moving them) pick five of the following
cards to create a creature in your sketchbook:
○ 1 Small, 1 medium, 1 large, 1 details, 1 habitat
● When you’ve drawn it out then add color using
whatever media you’d like.
● If you have time you can give your creature a name.
