What is Criminal Behavior? Crime:  1   :  “an act or the  commission  of an act that is forbidden or the omission of a duty that is commanded by a public law and that makes the offender liable to punishment by that law;  especially   :  a gross violation of law” Examples: Murder, stealing robbery.
Continued… Behavior:   :  anything that an organism does involving action and response to stimulation  Examples: sleeping, talking, blinking, reading, moving, hitting, etc.
Nature vs. Nurture Ongoing dispute over the relative contributions of nature (hereditary) and nurture (environment).
Nature (hereditary) Maturation Critical Behavior Human traits Pregnancy Genetically proven
