- 1. Cutting shape 2 Date: 21/10/10 Today we were still cutting the shape. I was cutting the waist of the bear. Because there’s a big curve at the waist, so the bear’s waist didn’t look very round. When I pull the saw up, it was so hard to pull it out. Finish cutting the waist, I was cuting the left leg. Cutting the saw is easier than cutting the waist, it doesn’t have big curves, it is straight. But I didn’t use tenan saw because I was scared if I cut too much. I think I didn’t cutt very smooth, so I filed it. I can’t cut the top of the wood, because it was so little, so I filed it. I thought file a wood stuff is easier than file a metal, but it seems not, sometimes I even can’t push it! I felt I was so weak! Then, I cut the rocker shape. The important thing that cut the rocker is you must cut the rocker very round and smooth. Because if you cut it rough and square, it won’t rock anymore. I thought today I could finish the cutting step, but I only finish cutting the left of my wood. I am not satisfying my work, because I did finish my mission. I should finish next class. This activity develop me as a learner profile as a principled.
