- 2. Knowledge of F.S.S.S.(Furnace safeguard& supervisory system), B.M.S (Burner management system), governing console of BHEL Turbine ,A.H.P (ash handling & process control). Job Profile My basic work is to troubleshoot & control the process parameters from either field instrumentation or programing portion of D.C.S. DCS & PLC PORTION FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES ARE CARRIED OUT:- 1. Back-up of history ,events, alarms ,database ,HMI displays ,SQL data base ,logic & network database, are taken Quarterly or when modification is done . 2. Updating the I/O list & wiring diagram after modification at DCS or in field . 3. P.I.D tuning is done for Closed loops at regular intervals for better plant efficiency. 4. Loop testing, logic's modification & integrating hardware of D.C.S for process requirement. 5. Signal ground & Panel ground are checked at regular intervals to avoid leakage current interference. 6. For monitoring DCS healthiness, checklist is filed on daily basis. 7. Creation of Control module, channel assignment, scale assignment or any graphics designing are done when required. FIELD INSTRUMENTATION PORTION FOLLOWING ACTIVITIES ARE CARRIED OUT:- 1. Commissioning of field instruments like control valve, transmitters ,switches ,Thermocouple , R.T.D, Solenoid valves, Gauges , Motorized Valve limits adjustment etc. Also calibration or installation carried out whenever required. 2. Spare planning is done as per 10% demand. 3. Logics are checked as per logic sheets, also modified as per process & field requirement 4. Safety instructions & standard maintenance procedures for any activity are followed in proper manner. . 5. Trouble shout’s critical cases in online & offline condition. Achievements 1. Implementation of d/dt logic to avoid malfunction by temperature measuring devices. 2. Maintenance mode for ID & FD Fan online maintenance, without stopping the whole series.
