Working with a small team, communication and high awareness of current environment output was imperative. All work was carried out to a stringent standard and adhering to health and safety legislation, resulting in maximum component availability to the customer. • Trusted working unsupervised, components needed to be rectified under the correct wiring/avionic diagrams and in accordance with precision termination tooling and procedures. Problem solving by a step by step approach, an array of testing had to be carried out calculating the voltage, amplitude and resistance throughout the component under test to find and rectify the fault. • Taking on extra additional roles, the recording of the components rectification on paper and electronic was appointed due to having a high level of system and process knowledge. - 2. 857 NAS, Aircraft Technician, RNAS Culdrose Jan 2013 - Sep 2014 • Responsible for taking charge of unsupervised aircraft flight servicing, scheduled maintenance tasks and relevant aircraft paperwork as well as on occasion being responsible for downloading and uploading highly secretive decryptions for the aircrafts communication systems and GPS. • Directly involved in avionic systems, technical repairs and aircraft maintenance, including but not limited to fault diagnoses and subsequent fault rectification under supervision. • Worked in a small team of engineers on deployment in Afghanistan, in arduous conditions for prolonged periods of time, keeping the serviceability of aircraft high for operational tasking. • Employed with authorisation to perform weapon loading with supervision, including removal and replacement of high-risk explosive cartridges and external explosive equipment. • As a more experienced member of the team, trusted with the responsibility of organising weekly Foreign Object Debris (FOD) sweeps of both the operational runway and hangar, co- coordinating of both senior managers and junior level colleagues. • As a vital member of the team welfare committee, involved in high management meetings to represent my peers, as well as being partly responsible for organising of events and liaising with managers for funding and allocation of welfare funds. 849 NAS, Aircraft Technician, RNAS Culdrose Dec 2011 - Jan 2013 • Predominantly working on line operations taking the lead to make sure all flight line tasks where managed in a timely fashion and manpower was correctly allocated whilst ensuring the correct health and safety procedures were carried out when working in potential hazardous areas. • Worked autonomously as a plane captain, coordinating unsupervised flight servicing, assisting supervisors with aircraft moves and other team evolutions. • Involved in ground running of aircraft with both pilots and supervisors engaging in system fault diagnoses and system pre-flight checks, communicating with the trade lead to further avionic trade knowledge. Depth Facility, Aircraft Technician, RNAS Culdrose Jul 2011 - Dec 2011 • Worked as tradesman on the squadron depth maintenance facility, carrying out zonal maintenance and component replacements with minimal supervision. • Involved in removal and replacement of highly important aircraft components working to close tolerances and recording accurate measurements such as radar scanner mounting equipment, generators and intricate parts of the fire bottle explosive cartridge systems. • Managed full rebuild on aircrafts electrical components, ordering correct modification parts and replacing all system components following the relevant aircraft publications only liaising with supervisors when necessary. • As one of the more experienced junior technicians at work, as an additional role I organized all inflammable materials and usage banks, as well as the ordering and return of all stores resulting in a refined working environment and enhanced health and safety practices.
