I truly believe that young adults need to learn, not only from the game of hockey, but also need to learn from life’s lessons which will equip them to be leaders of tomorrow. I have personally benefited from this philosophy from a very special coach in my junior hockey experience. This coach provided me with a vision and a belief in myself and the value that I brought to our winning team. Through his examples I was not only able to learn how to win, but to learn more about life which allowed me to learn more about myself as I excelled in hockey. Through implementing this philosophy, I have been able to positively impact my players’ ability to take their hockey skills to the next level as they learned more about themselves and develop a passion for both hockey and learning. I look forward to meet with you and demonstrate this philosophy with concrete examples, and share what has made the difference in the young adults that I have had the privilege to coach.
