Project 1: Data Migration/warehousing projects.
CVS developed new application in order to better
serve their clients. CVS formed an ETL team to
perform the migration activities from the old system
to newly built system. The team is responsible for
migrating the patients from old system to new
system along with all the relevant information such
as items(drugs/medicines), doctors (health care
providers), insurance information, payment
information etc.,
Apart from migration activities the ETL team is also
responsible for building a new data warehouse to
store the patient’s historical data and other PHI data.

CVS acquired an application that supplies
medication for the patients who are chronically ill.
The new system keeps track of the drug/dose that
the patient is taking on a daily basis, maintain the
dose history. Along with maintaining the dosing
information of patients, the application also maintains
the clinical parameters, emergency contact
information, Titration calculations, Institution

information, Doctor information, worklist and other
details. The new application is tightly integrated with
existing CVS’s primary specialty application and
uses the data from it.

account with JPMorgan Chase to claim their
payment. Some of its functionalities are listed below.
 This client application allows client to log in into
the client mobile application after Multi Factor

 Payments can be sent to the consumer’s email
from client application.
 The clients can see their recent/all payments

application from the link available in their

questions and answers before they take action

 The consumer will have options to ACH out the
payment to external accounts, request a
plastic/virtual card and load the money into the
card depends on the client’s payment option
method.
