I’m an accomplished Electrical Engineer with a background in commercial and industrial
installations.
I have an in depth knowledge of Operations and Maintenance of Electrical works and am
looking to expand my experience within a role that combines field work as well as

Achievements
o Assigned to carry out supervision of Electrical installations, construction and quality
assurance on designs and installation works in the Thermal Power Plant.
o Ensure that safety procedures and standards are adhered to by the contractor and
personnel.
o Working experience in HT and LT Switchgears, protection of the switchgear, and
maintenance of the electrical equipment’s.
o Testing and Commissioning of Motors
o Working experience in above ground earthing, below ground earthing, equipment
earthing like motors, HT and LT panels, Transformers and all electrical equipment.
o Having thorough knowledge of ladder, perforated and control cable tray installation in
cable racks, cable trenches, and cable wells, switchyard and below panels.
o Preparation of cable schedule, cable laying work from 1.5sq.mm size to
400sq.mm size (both Al & Cu) for MCCs, PCCs and other electrical equipment.
o Experience in 330KV Transmission Tower Erection and Conductor Stringing.
Conductors involved: Lead wires on two circuits (Bison conductor) and OPGW
for communication and ACS for grounding in a span of 48.7KM from the Plant
to ZESCO substation-Muzuma.

o Erection, Testing commissioning of Generator Transformer (200MVA *2),Unit
Auxilary Transformers(37.5MVA*2),Service Dry Type Transformers(1MVA*24)
and12 Transformer Rectifiers at the Electrostatic Precipitator unit 1
o Erection, Testing and Commissioning of HT-33KV Schneider Switchgear
panels PCC, 6.6 KV K-fine Switchgear PCC and LT-400V switchgear panels and
HT & LT Dry Type Transformer.
o Testing and commissioning of HT motors & LT motors in the plant-highest
rating being the BFP motor-4300KW and least rating being 0.37KW rapping
motor at the ESP.
o Overseas the Erection, Testing and commissioning of 330KV switchyard (one
and half breaker scheme) Electric equipment: SF6 breakers, Disconnect
switches, CTs, CVTs, Surge arrestors and sound knowledge of the protection
schemes associated.
o Co-ordinates with Electrical Engineer from Tata consulting prior for inspection
about field work.
o Participated in the Electrical installation at the New Coal Washing plant: 750KVA
Transformer installation at site, MCC Panel set up, cable laying and termination,
Commissioning of Plant Motors.
o Carrying out Maintenance works and Understanding Operations of Equipment at the
old coal washing plant.
o Perform routine maintenance inspections (condition monitoring) on Equipment.
o Electrical Maintenance duties including trouble shooting and repairs.
o Carrying out tests such as dissipation factor, insulation resistance tests on electrical
equipment.
o Installation of Motor Starter Panels (DOL) at the Coal Washing Plant.
o Take all electrical drawings to familiarize with the system.

o Earthing grid and Earth Pit for the Project including putting of aggregate stones.
