Cebu

TAOIST TEMPLE
See the sights of Cebu City on this 3.5-hour tour. Learn about the city's history as
you visit landmarks such as Fort San Pedro and Magellan's Cross, and see cultural
attractions like the Taoist Temple.
Basilica Del Santo Nino
• Discover the oldest colonial city of the Philippines by experiencing the
charm of old Cebu and its most famous landmark, Magellan's Cross.
The cross was first planted in 1521 to mark the spot where the native
Filipinos were baptized into the Catholic faith.
Kawasan Falls
Take an early morning drive southwest of Cebu along picturesque
coastlines, heritage churches and Spanish houses and visit the the 98
meter Mantayupan Falls and the refreshing Kawasan Falls.
Lapu-lapu Shrine
Explore Mactan on this full-day tour covering the area's cultural,
historic, and religious sites. Stops include Cebu's Heritage of Cebu
Monument, Magellan's Cross, and the Phillipine Taoist Monument as
well as Mactan Island's Minument of Lapu Lapu and the Alegre guitar
factory.
Museo Sugbo
Visited this museum on a rainy day. If you're a history buff, I think you'll
love this place. Well organised with separate rooms for different periods
of history and hosted in a lovely, ornate old building
Robinsons Galleria
Robinson’s has three malls in Cebu City that are connected by free shuttle. This one is
the largest and nicest. There are restaurants, stores and plenty of people to watch.
Hop on the shuttle north to the other Robinson’s malls which are within walking
distance of each other. Also, food and plenty of shopping in those at cheaper prices.
Fuente Osmena Circle
There are so many vehicles passing round this place everyday; traffic at times is
really heavy, especially during peak hours. You can see different events taking
place here. Sometimes, you see people jogging or brisk walking around it. There
are many food chains, department stores, hospitals and banks around this
vicinity. This place can get pretty crowded sometimes.
Taboan Public Market
Need pasalubong, this is one shop stop, so to speak. From keychains, ref magnets,
dries mangoea most eapecially danggit, you can all find them here with your best
haggling style. Best to reach the stalla inside the market because the ones outside
start at a selling price of 750 or so per kilo whilst inside you can go low as 600.
Packed dried mangoes sell around 140 for an unlabeled and just-packed batch or
you can the prepackaged sold at our common groceries which would sell at 55 as
lowest? Also, for keychains or ref magnets, there are those selling here 3 for 50php,
hoard as much because it is much pricey at other tourists like Magellan's Cross.
Sugbo Mercado
We go to Sugbo Mercado at the IT Park whenever we need to eat really late coz
they usually close at 12 midnight and sometime 1am. Choices are plentiful, place is
relatively clean and prices are reasonable.
