- 1. Music Video Script Instructions On the following page is a blank table in script format. The rows number themselves automatically, so you can insert or delete rows as the project requires by selecting a row or rows then right-clicking within the selection and clicking on “insert rows or “delete rows”. You can also move rows by dragging The Video column is for descriptions of visuals and should include camera directions, transition descriptions and anything else visually important. You can also insert graphics to better illustrate or storyboard the script. The Audio column is for narration, and music and audio f/x descriptions and direction. The narration should be clearly distinguished from the audio notes (usually the narration in each scene begins with NARR: and the other audio notes are in parentheses or italics, or a different color). The point is to make the narration easy enough to spot that the narration can be read without requiring the reader to search through confusing text. The Audio column is also set to 1.5 spacing – this leaves room for notes. Save this document under a new name and delete these first three pages to create a script using our template.

The scene change to the lead singer “I'm waking up, I feel it in my walking along a country road on his bones own looking down at his feet. There is radioactive then a flash back of him abusing drugs and alcohol in a darkened Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, alleyway. Then back to the field of radioactive” an extreme close up of the singer blinking in slow motion at a slight Small slow-motion part 1:35-1:52 low angle view. This scene relates shows the lead singer looking back on his drug fueled lifestyle hence the “flashback”. He believes himself to be “radioactive” meaning he is poisoned by drugs meaning his whole life is essentially dying due to his habit. 8. The scene cuts back a side/mid-shot “I raise my flags, dye my of the full band at the abandoned clothes bridge shown earlier, singing and playing their instruments. The scene slows how hard the lead singer’s journey is by having him shown as tired and drained of energy. These lyrics again relate to the lead singer trying to change his ways. 11. The scene skips a side mid-shot of “Welcome to the new age, to the the singer slowly making his way up new age the hill (shot from side). The scene skips to him closer from the Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, top of the hill with a low radioactive anglelong shot from behind. The walk up the hill shows the lead Whoa, whoa, I'm radioactive, singers journey to make a new turn radioactive” 2:31-2:49 in his life improving and coming to an end. 12. The scene cuts to the band playing “All systems go, sun hasn't died very enthusiastically on the Deep in my bones, straight from makeshift stage again. There is a high angle panning shot it slow inside” 2:49-3:01 motion showing the whole band preforming to nobody. The enthusiasm the band has relates to how much faith they have that the lead singer will prevail. “Sun hasn’t died” means the lead singer hasn’t given up on himself succeeding.
