Context The Next Generation Internet (NGI) initiative, launched by the ECin the autumn of2016, aims at shaping the futureinternet as an interoperable platform ecosystem with values such as: openness, inclusivity, transparency, privacy,cooperation, and protection of data. The General DataProtection Regulation (GDPR) applies since 25 May2018. Specifically, Article 20 has the purpose ofmaking significantly easier for citizens to haveany data which is stored with one service provider transmitted directlytoanother provider. Now, the new data protection regulation on portability has been developed togive the concerned persons better control over their personal data. New Regulation NGI,bytheEuropeanCommision

The project The aim DAPSI will foster the advanced research in the Data Portability field through the support to researchers, SMEs and startups or innovators providing equity free fundingand a pack of services such as coaching and mentoring in the needed areas, that will pave them the way to successfully reachthe marketwith their use cases
