Advantages • Lowers Biological Oxygen Demand (BOD) • Lowers Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD) • Safe and easy to use • Renders oil non-flammable • Product biosurfactants make it ideal for open water applications • Significantly reduces hydrocarbons within 30 to 60 days • Liquid formula allows for widespread applications such as misting or foaming • Microbes produce enzymes and, when consuming a food source such as hydrocarbons, split their DNA to become two microbes approx. every 20 minutes, creating quick action performance Uses • Remediation of crude oil in both salt water and fresh water • Remediation of oil that washes up on beaches or land masses • Remediation of oil from estuaries and wetlands • Cleaning of oil from reefs and rocks • Cleaning of oil from animal fur and feathers SYSTEM SPECIFICATION ECOBIOTIX™ as supplied by CETI is a ready-to-use, aqueous solution with flexible application options. Whether full strength or diluted, ECOBIOTIX™ can be injected, sprayed, misted or foamed onto the target area. Typical Physical Properties Color: Clear/Amber Water Mix Ratio: 8:1 Flash Point: Non-flammable Percentage of water: 89.83% Specific Gravity: 1.032 Solubility: Clear in water Application Equipment Pressure Washer: portable machines such as Karcher, Excell, Husky, Campbell Hausfeld or similar on a low or mist setting. Large-scale: tractor-pulled agricultural sprayers, crop dusting sprayers. Mixing and Application 1. Blend 1 part EC03 93% concentration ECOBIOTIX™ with up to 8 parts water. 2. Fill application vessel with blended material. 3. Apply to: beaches, rocks, reefs, marshes, estuaries, open water. Material Storage Material should be stored in its own container and should always be kept covered. Equipment Clean-Up Rinse with clean water after use. ECOBIOTIX™ will not damage equipment. Safety Product MSDS shows that ECOBITOIX™ is extremely safe for both the environment and individuals applying the material. No special personal protection equipment is required.
