This document describes an IT tool called DeCiDe that is meant to help political decision makers and experts visualize demographic scenarios and challenges in Asia and Eastern Europe. The tool allows users to: - View population data and projections over time - Assess 10 demographic challenges and 14 policy options - Develop strategies by interactively weighing challenges and options - Simulate the impact of strategies on future population growth The tool contains data on population trends for 6 sample countries and is intended to foster cooperation on addressing demographic issues.
