This document discusses the deployment of UAV-mounted access points for Voice over WiFi (VoWiFi) services, emphasizing the importance of ensuring Quality of Service (QoS) for users. It presents a mathematical formulation to optimize the number of UAVs needed for adequate coverage and QoS, acknowledging the limitations of traditional coverage-based models in WiFi networks. The study details analytical models and optimization techniques applied to enhance VoWiFi communication in scenarios lacking existing infrastructure.
