Naturally, they are interested in making big bucks by selling thousands of these new machines, but in order to do that, the robot must be capable of doing the extraordinary like building gazebos, balancing the checkbook, cooking dinner…and even simple things like folding laundry.Your job, however, is to design a robot that will be desirable to our target audience: KIDS! After all, parents will stop at nothing to satisfy their little darlings, won’t they?What would kids want a robot to do for them? Clean a room? Secretly dispose of unwanted vegetables from their dinner plates?Check homework? You can design your robot by hand (sketching and coloring on white paper) or you can use one of our “build a robot” templates online. If you decide to create yours online, follow these instructions:Go to your teacher’s blog.
- 2. Click on the “Build a Robot” icon.
- 4. Use the snipping tool to copy a picture of your finished robot.
- 5. Save the ‘snippet’ in your folder on the H drive. Remember to give it a name starting with your initials. An example would be: KJN Robot
- 6. If you read these directions and followed them, write your name in the bottom right corner of this paper and give this to your teacher at the end of rotation.
