- 8. Eco club framed the Rules and Regulations to reduce the garbage level in measurable terms. As a motivational factor Eco club – took initiative steps to update the notice board and charts were displayed by the students.
- 9. Drawing Competition on “ Clean Neighbourhood” Assembly activities to bring awareness among the students - speech - conversation - environmental quiz
- 10. Before implementation the garbage produced was measured. It considerably reduced to 71 kg from 250 kg per week.
- 11. A compost pit was dug near the school to dispose the biodegradable garbage.
- 12. Street Visit Student volunteers visited the adopted neighbourhood streets (Maraimalaiadi street & Vivekanda street) & created a sense of cleanliness among the residents through various activities
- 13. Street play was enacted by the students to explain the hazards of garbage
- 14. The streets are cleaned by the corporation workers. This change is sustainable and monitored periodically by our students.
- 15. A rally was organized by our students to create awareness among the people regarding neighbourhood cleanliness.
- 16. A street play was performed by the students in front of the local corporation office for the public which gained appreciation.
- 17. Change in attitude of students towards neighbourhood cleanliness. Awareness was created among public towards the same. Brought sustainable change in the school campus too. Adopted streets proof of neighbourhood cleanliness
