- 2. This year‟s show went by so quickly, there wasn‟t time to see it all, but here are a few moments to share.
- 3. This year (and next, as it worked!), the desert city of Los Vegas was the venue for DevLearn.
- 5. Or just a little wackiness that is the city...
- 6. The Expo floor was where we really went to be...
- 7. Where you could meet your friendly eLearning celebs, like Terrence Wing (on left).
- 8. We enjoyed a visit with do-gooders Martin Baker from Charity Learning Consortium and Eric Berg of LINGOs (here with Alfredo Leone of QuickLessons).
- 9. Other “celebs” were in house...like Bill Brandon, somewhere...
- 10. The eLearning Guild was ready to take people to the next level of involvement.
- 11. As was ASTD...
- 12. Love „em or hate „em, the LMS is a force to reckon with…
- 13. It wouldn‟t be complete without the Bro‟s (they seem to be expanding!)
- 14. Clarity Consultants were constantly smiling faces seen everywhere...
- 15. Yukon Group staff were also all smiles.
- 16. Pigs call to our second nature (!)...and charmed the imagination at both Yukon and Forge FX.
- 17. Creative talent could turn any item into an animal of choice…here an elephant was the request.
- 18. Text to speech continues to emerge…
- 19. Sound80 was on hand to ensure the voice of learning is heard (giving away kettle corn as a light snack)
- 20. Still a coveted give-away... the iPad (at mimeo)
- 21. But sweets hit the mark as a runner up...these cute licorice Scotties graced SH!FT‟s elegant green and black booth and oh, no, Tasty-Kake at Brookwood‟s. Ah well, hit the gym back home.
- 22. Making versatile use of a zebra- themed scarf give-away at Zebra- Zapps
- 23. Men in black was the fashion mode, as seen by new exhibitor, anewspring, with Martén de Prez modeling (note: Italian leather shoes complete the look)
- 24. A wee learner brought smiles to booth staff around the floor, with contagious enthusiasm.
- 25. There was a new game in town: DevLearn bingo of a sort...
- 26. Marketing messages play on gut- responses: cut travel pain, feel secure, deliver content now!
- 27. Articulate had cute little guys (as well as affable regular- sized humans).
- 28. Some people just know how to have fun
- 29. Friendly eLearning colleagues at SmartBuilder were neighbors again...
- 30. No matter what the activity at the booth, it was about service with a smile.
- 31. As always at DevLearn books were available to augment learning, with the unflagging staff
- 32. Featured titles focused on making your graphics sing...
- 34. The theme of mobile learner is de rigueur.
- 35. Clever covers (napkin & duct tape) convey making ideas sell:
- 36. Talent management is another theme, as books on outsourcing and employee retention illustrate.
- 37. Two books show signs of the times...Web inundation and Social’s here to stay!
