This document discusses the need for culturally agile global business leaders. Over 1,000 CEOs from over 50 countries identified managing diverse cultures as a top concern threatening business success. Effective global leaders are able to adapt to different cultural norms when needed, minimize cultural differences to ensure consistency, and integrate multiple cultural perspectives. Leaders must understand when each approach is strategically important. While cultural adaptation is key for tasks like sales, cultural minimization is important for maintaining standards in operations. The most effective leaders leverage all three approaches - adaptation, minimization, and integration - depending on the situation.
