- 2. Plot The story is based around a university student who see’s a homeless girl one night as he is walking home. He then decides to comfort her, but at the same time can’t help but think she’s good looking (as he stated in the thread a 7/10) but does feel guilty for thinking. He then takes her home to feed and wash her. He gives her some of his ex’s clothes of which she is very grateful and then takes her back to her spot. The pair then begin to meet up on a regular basis during his lunch breaks and after uni sharing meals together. This goes on nearly everyday for 2 months. She begins to get back on her feet by getting a job at a Panera making sandwiches. One night they go back to his place and she pounces on him. A short time after they decide to make it official. She then moves into his place. 5 years later they eventually become married and are expecting the first child.
- 3. Genre: Drama Target audience: Female. Ages from teenagers to elderly. The target audience for romantic drama’s is commonly female’s. This is due to the fact that women favour watching these films and programmes, due to them consisting of that perfect relationship that blossom’s through out the story, as well as dreaming of a that ‘ideal’ man who will sweep them off their feet.
- 4. Channel: ITV 1 Air: After the watershed. I have decided that ITV 1 would be a good channel for my programme to air on, due to the fact ITV 1 air one or two part drama’s on a regular basis, which air at 9PM-10PM. The drama’s of which air on ITV 1 at this time are hour long programme’s including adverts, where as mine shall only be 15 minutes (obviously if more time was given it would be 45 minutes, but it has to remain in the given time). These drama’s may range around a variety of topics from murders, all the way to romance drama’s which deal with affairs. An example for this would be The Leaving. It will also have to air after the watershed due to strong language and sex.
- 5. Location I shall be filming around a few locations centred in and around Maidstone. These shall be 1. The old Somerfield multi-story car park. This shall be where the homeless girl sleeps/lives. 2. Maidstone Halls (not UCA halls). This shall be where the boy lives, due to him going to university. 3. UCA campus – Maidstone. This shall be where the boy studies photography. 4. Mereworth woods. The boy (in a future scene when he passes uni) will be taking wildlife photo’s for a wildlife magazine. 5. Maidstone High Street. This shall be where the couple meet and have their walks and talks.
- 6. Length: The programme shall run for a full 15 minutes and shall be a one of drama. The story line to me felt like it was more of a one parter, and that the story shall be told in one sitting. Feel and weather: I want a bit of a darker, cold, winter feeling in the beginning to help portray how dark, lonely and cold it can get being homeless, before it becomes a bit more sunny and clearer, which will represent the couples future is looking up, brighter and happier for the pair of them. Time lapses: I shall also be using time lapses of Maidstone and the M20 at certain points of the short film. These will be placed in on when the two part ways to go to sleep, falling asleep and when the door shuts on the sex scene.
- 7. Where the story came from? I came across this story in a Baww thread (baww is the sound crying out loud) on a forum. This particular thread is where people go to write sad stories which have happened to them, people they know, and other sad stories which have been posted in the past by others. There can only be so many threads going at once, so eventually the thread and stories within will be deleted. I did try searching on Google for more information on the story, but I had no luck. However I did screenshot the story of when it was put up in all three of it’s parts.

- 9. Music Once again like in past projects, I shall be contacting Shogun Audio (of whom I have used in the past) to receive permission in order to use their music. I will also be contacting Med School, Blu Mar Ten and Kokeshi to get permission to use some of theirs. Songs I will be using will be 1. Alix Perez – 1984 2. SpectraSoul – Light In The Dark 3.
