Digipak
- 1. The Script Digipack Shots: at the front of the digipack there is a close up of two hands, one over the other which is centred in the middle. And at the back there is the same two hands touching each other. Text: The band name and the album title is on the cover of the digipack. With the band name in big bold writing, whereas the album name is underneath in small writing. Layout: It has the artists name and album name on the cover of the digipack and at the back it has the songs, their website, and their labels names. Language: Formal. Colour: The text is in black and the background is in brown. It gets lighter as it gets towards the centre.
- 2. Coldplay Digipak. Shots: On the top right it shows all of the cold play members. They use a variety of shots for this, for example bottom left they use a close up for the singers face, and for the top right they use a mid shot for the guitarist. Text/layout : They use bright green text. On the bottom left they have the bands name and underneath it they have the name of the album. On the bottom right they have the list of songs that is going to be featured on their album. Language: formal Colour: Green text on a black background.
- 3. Artic Monkeys Digipack Shots: there are no shot types used for this digipack. Text/ Layout: the album artwork and the bands name is on the front of the digipack. Language: Formal. Colour: They have used a black and white colour.
- 4. Gorillaz Digipak Shots: There is 4 close up shots of the band members. Text/layout : There is barely any text on the digipak. This digipak is different from the ones I have looked at. This one you can’t see any track list or the label name. It is laid out so the 4 members are around the outside and the CD is in the middle. Language: formal Colour: They used a range of different colours. For example, each band member has a colour associated by them. The CD is black and it has white writing.
