Will Humphrey analyzed the digipaks of Alex Clare's album "The Lateness of the Hour" and Alt-J's album "An Awesome Wave". He looked at colors, layout, fonts, images, genre, audience, and representation. For Alex Clare, the digipak uses mainly black and white. It includes images potentially related to songs and lyrics on several panels. For Alt-J, the digipak mainly uses grey and white with lyrics on most panels and standard fonts for readability. Both include lyrics for fans to sing along.

I have chosen to look at the digipaks of the Alex Clare and Alt-J . I have analysed The Lateness Of The Hour album and An Awesome Wave. I have looked at the colours, layout, fonts, image, genre, audience, institution and representation. I have chosen to look at Alex Clare, Jake Bugg and Alt-J because they are artists from the indie/alternative genre and like me they are an individual artist.
