This document analyzes the digipaks of three different artists - Lana Del Rey, Odd Future, and The Hotelier - in order to gain insights for designing the author's own band's digipak. For Lana Del Rey's "Born to Die", the analysis focuses on how the digipak conveys her vintage, "girl-next-door" image through soft colors and tones on the front cover and intentional contrasts on the back cover and CD. For Odd Future's "The OF Tape Vol. 2", the analysis examines how the childlike and unconventional design appeals to their young, male audience while challenging gender norms. Insights from both will inform the design of the author's own digip
