Digipak Analysis (CD Space)
- 1. Originally, this page consisted simply of the image; however this left too much negative space around it. Therefore, we decided to fill this space with an inspirational quote from Jose Vanders. She speaks on the inside cover of singing being her dream, so we decided to extend this idea of her being a young girl with a dream through the quote “Every great dream begins with a dreamer…” This quote gives a positive message out to Jose’s young female fans, encouraging them to follow their dreams too. Also, the handwritten style typography gives a more personal feel to this comment. The main image was taken at the same time as the images on the front and back cover, as well as the music video, creating links between them all through the use of the same styling and location. The still image appears dynamic as it showing Jose walking along, reflecting the journey of the music video. The artist is effectively framed by the CD hole, ensuring she is the centre of focus, due to herself being the branding of Jose Vanders.
