- 2. This digipak doesn’t really give an idea of what type of music that the is on the album, however, if you are to know who the artist is then you will immediately know what the genre of music is. The colours of the album are bright and stand out with the heavy use of pink/red which gives a slight indication that the genre of music could be pop due to the colour scheme of the album. - 3. This digipak is colourful and dark at the same time which indicates that they are a rock band due to the colours used are still dark. But, like Oasis, they are really head rocking type rock music but more music in which you would sing along too. . On the picture of the rear side of the digipak, you can see the band members incorporated into a dark colour scheme which immediately informs you that the genre of music is rock music. This digipak is of just an album rather than just a greatest hits album for example, this suggests that the album and the music in the album were a success hence the reason in which it is a digipak. . - 4. The album cover tells you straight away that the band, Oasis, are a rock band but it also gives a feel of an indie type band as the album cover is similar to that of indie genre bands. Despite their music not been like a lot of other rock music that consists of a lot of screaming, head rocking type music. The colours of the digipak don’t really match the colours that are normally associated with rock music. Rock music colours are usually dark colours yet the colours on the digipak aren’t really apart from the rear on the digipak. The digipak doesn’t have any members of the and on the either of the sides which is surprising considering that a digipak is usually ‘special’ album so you would have thought that the album would’ve have had an image of the band. - 5. The image of David Guetta shows his party like lifestyle with his image on the digipak and the outfit. This enables you to see instantly the audience and genre in which he performs to. The digipak promotes the artist, David Guetta by incorporating an image of him by using bright colours scattered across the digipak which indicates a vibrant album. The album promotes all the music in which he has produced giving a selection of tracks that can be seen on the rear of the digipak. The colours on the front of the digipak being black and white give the impression of night life even though he’s wearing sunglasses which therefore indicates that he is a DJ.
