   At one point the digital divide was assume to be a racially
   orientated issue with socially orientated ties. Monroe Barbara write
   that the digital divide is a critical examination of race writing, and
   technology in the classroom. She states that there are barriers to
   consider when dealing with language and culture.

     Prior to the September 11 attacks the issue of the digital
     divide was revisited. Former vice President AL Gore wanted
     to close the gap, and President Bill Clinton propose universal
     action for American education to resolve the internet
     problem. Technological scholars were oppose to the issue that
     race was a factor, and social scientists was believing it to be a
     race problem

            access to public facilities that allow access

 Gauri 2007) writes digital divide widens in access and usage of
 the internet, research findings Indicate that it is due to “socio-
 economic factors.”
 more people are having access to internet then was in past

   are among the biggest online producer on free website such as
   blogging, tweeting, social media, and video sharing site, but she
   states “while black people are more likely to blog than whites, It
   doesn’t mean the digital divide is over.

             People who are economically stable and
            well educated are still more likely to blog
            than people of a low economic status
            and poor education. Many minorities are
            accessing the internet through the use
            of smartphone and are just as likely to own
            one as whites.(Schradie, J.2012).

            24% of American remain truly unconnected to the
            Online experience


            25% of disable Americans do not go online.

     Currently 88% of American adult have a cell
     57% have a laptop, 19% own an e-book reader,
     And 19% have a tablet computer
