planning of project, deciding scope of software product, estimation of cost in various
terms, scheduling of tasks and events, and resource management.

The job pattern of an IT company engaged
in software development can be split in two
parts:

Development:
Keep the software developers up-to-date, and aligned with the current business strategy.
