I am not here to mourn you, but instead to celebrate your long marginally productive life.
You were like the old man at the end of the bar at 1:45 AM on a Thursday night. You knew your
best days were behind you, but you brazenly refused to accept that.
You simply didn’t care that your graphical user interface looked like GeoCities circa 1999. When
other platforms were developing mobile apps to serve their client base, you insisted on making
your users VPN to get to you. That’s how you rolled. Obstinate to the bitter, bitter end. You might
not have been inspiring, but you were always there. A dependable friend in a sea of turmoil.
They may unplug you tonight, but they can never erase the memories you made. The placements.
The IBIs. The DO NOT WORK WITH button. They all happened because of you. Sure, you’ve been
technically replaced with a far superior platform in Bullhorn (aka Big Hat), but you will never be
replaced in our hearts and minds.
Good night, sweet prince. Your watch has ended at last. Rest easy.
