This study aims to evaluate the efficacy of combination therapy (intravitreal triamcinolone acetonide injection with macular grid laser treatment) versus monotherapy (macular grid laser treatment alone) for treating macular edema caused by branch and central retinal vein occlusion. A randomized controlled trial was conducted with 68 patients, with 34 patients randomized to each treatment group. The combination therapy group received an intravitreal triamcinolone injection followed by macular grid laser treatment, while the monotherapy group received macular grid laser treatment alone. Outcomes such as improvement in best corrected visual acuity and reduction in macular edema were measured and found to be significantly greater in the combination therapy group compared to the monotherapy group
