The study assesses the effectiveness of study skill techniques in reducing stress and improving coping strategies among higher secondary school students in Sothupakkam, finding a significant decrease in stress levels and an increase in coping abilities post-intervention. Utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a sample of 60 students aged 13-18, the research revealed high levels of academic stress initially, which improved markedly after the implementation of the techniques. The study recommends further research to explore academic stress across different demographics and improve awareness among parents and educators.
