A native of Texas born and raised in the Edinburg- McAllen region of the Rio Grande Valley, in the county of Hidalgo, Texas. I currently call Las Vegas, Nevada my home where I have recently moved with my family after suffering a heart attack on July 23. I am on the path to full recovery and ready to continue my pursuit of my Doctorate degree. I am the eldest son to Mr. Reyes Garcia and Mrs. Aurora Villarreal Garcia, and sibling to Mr. Eloy Garcia and Ms. Jacqueline Dawn Garcia. I am a class of 2016 graduate from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley (UTRGV), where I successfully earned my Master of Public Administration (MPA), while leading a team of graduate researchers studying various service delivery techniques, cost saving paradigms, and the relative efficacy of transparency for government and nonprofit organizations. I am currently enrolled in Colorado Technical University’s (CTU) Doctoral of Computer Science Enterprise Information Systems online program.
