This document provides an abstract and introduction for a geological survey of the Memphremagog quadrangle and part of the adjacent Irasburg quadrangle in Vermont. It summarizes the mapping of six formations ranging from Ordovician to Devonian in age, which include three new formations described in detail. Major structural features related to the Acadian disturbance include folds, faults, and the Ware Brook thrust fault. Granite plutons and associated igneous rocks of late Devonian age are also described. Minor structures providing evidence of the structural development are discussed.
