Double Page Spread Production Steps
- 2. For the article I decided to focus it on ‘The Gladstones’ a new band in my Sixth Form I went to one their gigs to conduct a photo shoot
- 3. I decided on this main image as it shows every member of the band in action
- 4. I managed to arrange to get in interview with Jake of a lunch time I managed to arrange the interview via the via the social networking site Twitter
- 5. •I captured the interview with Jake by using a sound recorder so that I would be able to listen and type up the interview once I had gone home.
- 6. I types up the article as one large text file leaving and saving it as a ‘RTF’ Rich Text File so that is could be imported into Quark easily.
- 7. The arrows on the images to the left show the flow of the article across the pages
- 8. I linked the band title ‘The Gladstones’ and the word bagged because the word gladstone is an American bag making company I used red text for the title because it worked along side the colour scheme of my magazine
- 9. I then added a black background behind the Title to enhance the red colour of the title I also use the black background because it may the by-line a lot easier to read
