Salient features of Association’s demands with respect to wage revision effective
from 1-1-2017:
1. All the officers who are/were on the rolls of IFFCO on 31.12.2016 may be
fixed in the basic as per following:
a. Basic pay in pre-revised scale as on 31.12.2016 plus
b. Personal pay/allowance, if any, (which attracts/do
not attract DA and other allowances) plus
c. DA at the rate which was prevailing on 1.1.2017 (DA is paid on the
average of last three months - Oct., Nov. and December 2016).
d. 20 per cent of above as (a+b and c) as FITMENT BENEFIT.
e. Perks / allowances - same percentage as is
prevalent right now and NPA @20% of new basic.
2. DA: DA neutralisation would be as per the practice in our last wage
settlement.
3. At present, there are 2 dates of increment in a year, it should be once in a
year. Stagnation Increment may also be given every year on CR Rating of
'Very Good' and above.
4. Pay fixation on promotion- same percentage as is prevalent right now.
5. IFFCO is providing facility of house rent to those who are going to Oman
(after charging Standard rent from them) and persons working in ITGI (but
having quarters in the adjacent IFFCO Townships). By same logic and
standard, the residents of IFFCO Townships may be given houses on rent
and HRA may be provided to them as per the location of the Townships.
6. HRA / leased accommodation for officials: Same percentage as is prevalent
right now in units, HO and marketing offices. Leased accommodation may
be provided to all Field Officers posted in Mktg. field.
7. Cash handling allowances//Allowances for long working hrs/ performance
related payments and any other allowances which is being paid at the
moment under previous wage settlement: Negotiable.
8. Present shift allowance of Rs. 75 for A and B shift and Rs. 150 for Night
shift (C shift) may be increased to Rs. 200 and Rs. 500 respectively.
9. For the persons working in the Plants, Ports and Mktg. Field, a new non-
taxable Allowance may be introduced by the nomenclature of ' Hazardous
Allowance.' This will lessen the burden of Income-Tax by lawful means.

10. Retirement age may be increased from 60 to 62 years for all employees.
11. HBL ceiling may be increased from present Rs. 16 lakhs, which is very
meagre, to Rs. 50 lakhs or 110 months salary, whichever is less.
12. Conveyance advance & Education loan may be enhanced.
13. Limit of Encashment of leave at the time of retirement may be increased
from present 300 to 400 and medical leave encashment may be increased
from present 120 to 200.
14. Internet and phone allowance: may be increased from present Rs. 200 to
Rs. 1000 per month.
15. Insurance of Rs. one crore for any casualty occurring to any employee of
IFFCO.
16. Present medical reimbursement ceiling for parents may be increased from
Rs. 50000 (full) to 1 lakh and 70000 (half) to 1.50 lakhs, respectively.
17. IFFCO may contribute @10% of basic in NPS(New Pension Scheme).
18. Soft furnishing allowance may be given in alternate years.
